Olena Kalantarova

    Kalantarova Olena, a graduate of the Ph.D. program at the Department of History of Foreign Philosophy (Buddhist Studies) of the Hrygorii Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2017-2021). Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She received M.A. and B.A. in Applied Mathematics at the Department of Cybernetics at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Since 2022, she has studied Buddhist Philosophy at the Nalanda Diploma Course (“Tibet House” at the Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Delhi).

    In 2022 she founded the online project “Buddhological Laboratory in Ukraine (BUDLAB)” and now she is Moderator-in-chief of this project.
    Research interests: Buddhist Studies, Tibetan Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Ethics, Dialogue between Buddhism and Western Science, Philosophy of Time, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind
