Khalamendyk Oleksandra, M.A. in Religious Studies. She was born in Vinnytsia (Ukraine) on 31 of July 1989. She graduated National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences. She became the head of the educational and scientific laboratory Linguistics, Onomastics and Cultural Studies at Philology Department at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University in 2020.
In 2015 Oleksandra became a member of the Workshop for the Academic Study of Religions. She was a member of the Executive Board in 2015–2019 and is still responsible for the finances.
Research interests: religious tourism, sacred geography, gender and religion, religious art, cultural study of religion.
