We invite everyone to join the open lecture by Dr. of psychology Elizabeth Nesbit-Sbanotto, Assistant Professor in Christian Counseling Denver Seminary, USA. The topic of the lecture is "Psychological counseling: Christian perspective".

Organizers: Center for the Study of Religion at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University and Christian Center "Realis" together with Youth NGO «Youth Association of the Study of Religions».

The open lecture will address the issues of psychological counseling as part of Christian doctrine, and challenges of the foundations of Christian counseling and therapy.
We invite to participate students and all those interested in psychology and religion, in the development of Christian counseling and therapy.

Time and place: The lecture will be held on Monday, June 6, at 9:30 am in Kyiv, Central Building NPUDragomanov, Room 231 (Hall of the Academic Council).

Youth Association for the Study of Religions!

We invite you to participate in the Congress of young scholars of religion "Religion in Contemporary Culture", to be held on 24-25 October 2014 in Kyiv (Ukraine). 

Aim of the Congress: create an interdisciplinary field for discussing the place and role of religion in the contemporary culture, set up new and enhance existing liaisons between scholars of religions from different institutions of Ukraine by discussing the current issues of the presence of religion in the contemporary forms of culture.

Religion and the Everyday 2015

The IV international academic and research conference Religion and the Everyday will be held on 16 – 18 April 2015. The host venue is the Belarusian State University in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. The event is organized by the Young Association for the Study of Religions. To register submit your application and the text of your speech. Please state 'Minsk-2015' as the subject of your e-mail. The deadline for submission is 1 January 2015. For further information follow the link to download the info-letter.

The organizers would like to see different groups of participants: students, post-graduate students, lecturers etc. During the Seminar participants will listen to lectures about the features of ethnology of religions, present their own papers and take part in discussions.
Participants who want to present their papers should send abstracts (300-500 words) and paper title by e-mail before June, 10, 2013. Also the organizers need the following information about the participants: name, contact phone number, place of study/work, position, research interests and titles of key publications (optional).
